Seefeld in Tyrol is well-known for its 279 km of perfectly groomed classic and skating cross-country trails which have been frequently commended by the ADAC, the German Automobile Club. Cross-country skiing is an absolute delight here, and your enjoyment of the scenery will exceed your wildest dreams. Two new ski jumps and a snowmaking facility for the cross-country trails have been built at the Nordic Competence Centre.
And to make winter even more fun, the Ski Arena Seefeld has some 48 km of ski slopes and about 30 lifts and cable cars. Whether you want to ski or would rather unpack your snowboard to enjoy the descent - everything’s catered for.
Whilst you’re enjoying your winter day, your children are well looked after in one of the 5 ski schools, learning how to master the ski slope. Perhaps you too would like take up one of the courses on offer and improve your skiing technique.
The main thing is that you enjoy your holiday. Because that’s the number one priority!
And yes! We mustn’t forget to mention more than 140 km of cleared winter hiking trails with wonderful huts to call in for refreshments, guided snowshoe hikes, 3 ice rinks and 5 toboggan runs.
